Honeycomb Aerospace HC-141: Supporting UAV InSAR System Application and Validation

In recent days, Aerospace Information Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences has made important research progress in the development of UAV radar interferometry systems. To meet demands for technical verification and scientific research application of relevant technologies in complex environments, Honeycomb Aerospace relies on HC-141 fixed-wing UAV platform to continuously support the implementation and application of high-precision earth observation and deformation monitoring capabilities. The platform provides efficient and flexible aerial carrier support for surface elevation acquisition and micro deformation detection.



The HC-141 fixed-wing UAV adopts a high-wing twin-boom overall layout. It applies vacuum forming technology with carbon fiber and aramid honeycomb sandwich materials to achieve lightweight structure while maintaining high strength and high reliability, and delivers excellent flight stability and environmental adaptability. The platform features a modular structural design. Wings and empennage allow quick assembly and disassembly. Configuration can be flexibly adjusted according to scientific research task requirements, which effectively improves efficiency of test organization and multi-scenario verification.

In terms of mission capability, HC-141 fixed-wing UAV features advantages of long endurance and long range, and supports integration of multiple types of scientific research payloads. It can flexibly carry electro-optical cameras, space-based communication and navigation devices, small synthetic aperture radar, oblique photography systems and laser measurement equipment, forming an integrated experimental capability system for multi-source perception. In UAV radar interferometry missions, the platform can effectively guarantee flight trajectory stability and data acquisition continuity, and provide key support for high-precision DEM inversion and millimeter-level deformation measurement.

Relying on the above capabilities, HC-141 fixed-wing UAV has demonstrated excellent platform adaptability and application support performance in customized scientific research missions. It offers a stable and reliable flight verification foundation for multi-modal remote sensing measurement and data acquisition in complex environments, and supports the transformation of relevant technologies from algorithm verification to system-level application.



In the future, Honeycomb Aerospace will focus on integrated applications of UAV platforms and multi-source sensing payloads.
