China Unicom's "5G Anniversary Take Off" series of activities were successfully held today. The combination of 5G VR HD live broadcast, drone aerial live broadcast and offline lawn partying used in this event brought more highlights to the celebration. Relevant leaders of Henan Provincial Government, Anyang Municipal Government, China Unicom Group, Henan Unicom, China Unicom Research Institute, and China Unicom Terminal and Channel Support Center attended this celebration. China Unicom and 5G industry chain upstream and downstream partners jointly demonstrated The staged results of 5G development.
At the event site, a demonstration of 5G drone application scenarios was performed, and the audience was invited to wear VR glasses to watch Anyang panoramic view. The drone passed through Wenfeng Avenue, the two halls and the municipal square to reach Yiyuan, allowing the audience Feel the beauty of Anyang from the perspective of a drone. The HC-332+360° panoramic camera independently developed by Honeycomb Aerospace, combined with the CPE of the 5G network, transmits the 4K panoramic video to the streaming server via the uplink, and transmits the picture in the lens clearly back to the event site, allowing the audience to experience it. The unique charm of Anyang.
In this event, China Unicom announced the establishment of the "Anyang 5G Low Altitude Test Center" project. China Unicom Research Institute, Henan Unicom Company, CITIC Haizhi General Aviation Co., Ltd. and Anyang Municipal Government have cooperated to build the country's first 5G ubiquitous low-altitude flight test base, build a "two-sided and one-line" 5G low-altitude application test airspace network, and release 5G The dedicated airborne terminal "Rainbow One" for networked drones.
"Rainbow One" is a miniaturized terminal product that supports the integration of UAV digital and image transmission links and is adapted to 5G networks. The size is only 140*90*18mm, the weight is 260g, and it has TTL/RS232/SBUS serial ports. , Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI video input interface and other multi-mode hardware interfaces, and these hardware interfaces can be connected with PTZ, HD cameras, flight controllers and other equipment. Information such as images and data are transmitted back to the ground background system through the 5G network communication link. At the same time, the ground background system can also control the PTZ, flight control and other equipment through the terminal through the communication link.
Honeycomb Aerospace's UAV products were also unveiled in this Unicom 5G anniversary celebration. On the day of the event, many drones of Honeycomb Aerospace were exhibited at the scene. The audience can visit them at the venue and watch drone demonstrations and other activities on the spot. The relevant leaders and participants who participated in this event learned about the drones on display under the leadership of the responsible personnel, and had a deeper understanding of the broader and diversified application prospects of 5G in the drone industry.
The cross-border integration of Honeycomb Aerospace and China Unicom has injected new vitality into the future development of drones, and China Unicom's 5G development does not stop there. In the future, Honeycomb Aerospace will develop more UAV application scenarios and go hand in hand with China Unicom. With the blessing of 5G communication network, UAV applications will better meet the needs of more industries and truly liberate manpower through technology.
