On November 27, the finals of the 14th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition - Low-Altitude Economy Special Competition kicked off in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. This session of the competition attracted 536 participating projects, with 55 teams advancing to the final showdown. Following on-site roadshows, Q&A sessions and comprehensive evaluations, Honeycomb Aerospace secured Excellence Awards in both the Technological Product Innovation Category and the Technological Scenario Innovation Category.

The Low-Altitude Economy Special Competition of the 14th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is co-hosted by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Zhuhai. As the first national-level professional competition themed on low-altitude economy, it aims to promote cutting-edge technology R&D and industrial chain collaborative innovation in the low-altitude economy field, accelerate the transformation of technological achievements and their commercial application, and has high authority and significant industry influence.

The final of the Technological Scenario Innovation Category adopts a "7+3" format: participating entities deliver a 7-minute project roadshow presentation and then answer randomly selected questions on-site for 3 minutes. The judging panel consists of 9 experts from relevant industries, university professors and venture capital specialists. The final of the Technological Product Innovation Category is held in parallel with the opening ceremony of the 2025 Asian General Aviation Exhibition. It follows an "8+2" format: contestants conduct an 8-minute on-site product demonstration, followed by a 2-minute session of answering randomly selected questions on-site. The judging panel is composed of 5 experts from relevant industries, university professors and venture capital specialists.
The two-category scoring system focuses on multiple dimensions including technological innovation, application prospects, team composition, project implementation, social benefits, industrial driving effect, and on-site performance to conduct precise and professional evaluations of the entries. Among these, the Technological Product Innovation Category will also incorporate materials submitted in advance by participating teams—such as PPTs, videos, written introductions, and images—into its scoring references.

In terms of technological product innovation, Honeycomb Aerospace has developed a systematic product portfolio centered on industrial UAVs, intelligent unmanned airports and low-altitude management and control platforms. The system covers flight platforms, unattended equipment, ground control systems and cloud-based management platforms, and supports functions such as autonomous UAV flight control, intelligent flight mission scheduling, remote unattended operation and data processing. Through hardware-software collaboration and full-link technology integration, the company has realized a complete technological roadmap—from aircraft R&D to automatic execution of flight missions, and from data collection to intelligent analysis—demonstrating its overall R&D and application capabilities in low-altitude unmanned systems.
